Here is a much cheaper, but more user friendly robot than the ones I am used to.
This song: Sufjan Stevens- "The Dress looks nice on you" (or try downloading it from here).
Believe it or not y'all is in the dictionary (as long as you count dictionary.com as a dictionary). If you don't believe me check it out.
If you have ever had a bad boss he probably sounded a lot like this.
On Thursday I began the day by cleaning up fallen branches and repairing our fence that had been damaged by a large branch that fell during the ice storm. At around 11:30 AM I had just gotten done taking a nice hot shower, when the lights began to flicker and then went off for good. I thought that they would come back on in a few minutes, or maybe a few hours, but when I called home from work that afternoon to see if the answering machine would pick up, meaning we had power, I realized I thought wrong. As Kelly and I went to sleep that night in our 47 degree house we thought for sure that we would wake up to having our power back on. Sadly we were wrong. Friday when we went to work we thought for sure we would have power when we came home, but each time I would call home from work to check my hope began to slip. Slowly I began to realize what the people of New Orleans were talking about, though on a much, much more trivial scale. People would tell me how they had thought that they were leaving for a couple of days and then would be returning back to life as normal, so they only took a couple of days clothes, but nothing else. Sadly as we all know life did not return to normal in a couple of days. It amazes me how we as humans "think" that we know what is going to happen yet we have no clue, how we think that we know when life will return to normal, but that is not when it happens. Somehow it is in times like these that we realize that even our best plans are merely plans, but God knows the future and it is better than we can have ever imagined. Looking back at the past three days, I at first was mad because I couldn't get things done that I had planned to do, but now I have a renewed thankfulness for even the "small" things like electricity that simply make our life easier. As the saying goes its the tougher times in life that make you appreciate the truly great ones.
Here are some bumper stickers I saw while stuck in crazy A-town traffic. Scot, you will definitely enjoy the second one.

...or wait, maybe it has just begun...I'm not sure which one, but either way my proposal passed so now it's on to the experiment running.
Yesterday Gmail finally got rid of their 'Move to Trash' command for moving a letter from your Inbox to the Trash Can and replaced it with a simple 'Delete' command. I understand that their purpose was to reinforce their concept of "never delete an email," but some emails you know you'll never read, so why not make it easy to get rid of them. Most would say it's a very minor detail, but to me it goes to show how Google continues to pursue excellence.
Santa, if you elves have too much trouble making my first present, I wouldn't mind having this instead. Thanks again.
If you want to throw your $.02 in on a post all you have to do is sign up here, you don't have to create a blog, you can just get a user name so you can comment, but if you want to start a blog that's even better.
Santa, I have been very good this year and all I want is this. If you could just hook me up with that, it would be great.
The funniest thing that I heard today was hip-hop song on the radio talking about the guy's grill (aka his gold teeth), not sure what rapper it was though. They can rap about anything laffy-taffy, gold teeth, toy soldiers and even bananza (not to be confused with Bonanza).
I definitely recommend Walk the Line. I was a bit worried that there was no original music from the 'Man in Black', but I left thoroughly impressed with the covers.
